VillaRamadas Privé is a private treatment centre, based in Portugal, that has been treating International clients since 2001. We have treating more them 4.300 clients from 49 different countries. Our new advanced programme at Luxury Suits, involves a tailored made programme for the individual patients needs. We promote personal development and assist individuals to accept responsibility for their own choices. Our primary purpose is to introduce clients to a long-lasting recovery. We treat many disorders from chemical, behavioural or emotional issues for men and women.

Privately

On every level our treatment is private.

From our entry process through to our completely secluded residence, a client’s anonymity is important to our team.

We accept clients from independent referrals and via health insurance providers. All documentation is handled with sensitivity with our experienced Doctor and Admissions team.

With only a phone call a client can access VillaRamadas Privé. Our car service will collect clients at either Lisbon or Porto Airports.

Individually

Just as every client has different disorders so is the solution has to be custom.

The therapy team after their initial consultation will develop a specific programme for a client.

Intensively

Time is our most precious gift.

VillaRamadas Privé allows a client to enter into a recovery programme without the constraints of time. We will work with the client directly or the Health insurance provider to work within the time constraints.

The therapy will be paced at the clients pace and therapy will be interspaced with trips to the local area for sightseeing and activities.

Private clients can do a treatment between 14 and 21 days in a Luxury Suites.

Team

Our team is a multi disciplinary group of Psychiatrist, Physician, PhD Clinical Psychologist, Psychologists, Addiction Counsellors, Therapist and Nurses who live, on a daily basis, the philosophes that form the basis of our treatments. Every individual team member is focused on the client’s recovery process within his or her area of expertise.

From the initial consultation through to the follow up or after care programme a client will benefit from the differing skill set of each unique member of staff.

Without a house, without the support of the family, without a home, without a job, without a personality, without anything… I cannot remember exactly when I started drinking, but I remember that it was always present at my parent’s house.

When I realized, I was with 44 years, but I seemed to have 90…I was lost. I was living on the street, surviving with the help of charities, when a childhood friend found me. Today I can honestly admit, without any shame, that after having left the treatment early, that I relapsed. I was a drug user and I returned to what I knew. I would like to explain that the first time that I was in treatment I did not finish it, because I was not ready to be confronted with my attitudes. I did not want to admit this to anyone and I didn’t want anyone to be involved in my life. The lack of humility I displayed in facing my problem, led me to abandon the treatment after 2 weeks.

Everyone (Clinical Team) knew that I would relapse, however I didn’t believe them. As soon as I got home, my past cycle restarted. All the trust that my relatives had started to have in me was gone. I started to consume cocaine again and of course I started to steal again from my own family to maintain my addiction. My parents decided to be firm, and threatened to put me out of house.

Then I realised that I could not continue doing this and that I needed to make some choices.

I caught a plane and entered VillaRamadas Privé. I was welcomed with open arms. Nobody told me “ I told you so”. This time they were even harder on me but it worked. I finished the treatment and I have never returned to my old way of life.
